Multilevel Cervical Stenosis with Triple Level Bilateral Decompression Surgery
This medical exhibit displays the posterior and sagittal views of the cervical spine and axial view of the cervical vertebra with multilevel cervical stenosis undergoing a triple level bilateral decompression surgery. The preoperative condition shows bilateral foraminal stenosis compressing the existing nerve roots. In this procedure, portions of the laminae at C3-4, C4-5, and C5-6 are removed. Foraminotomies are then performed at each level to decompress the existing nerve root.
