This exhibit shows the anterior and sagittal view of the brain as well as a cut-away view of a vertebral artery. The anterior view focuses on the circle of Willis and the sagittal view displays the blood supply to the brain. The cut-away view depicts a vertebral artery dissection in which the intima detaches creating a flap that blocks blood flow.
